Vera Wang introduced black into her bridal collection a few seasons back and it has become all the rage! There are ways to incorporate black into your wedding attire in a very feminine and romantic way. I am loving the mixture of black and white tulle together in a gown or black lace over an ivory gown. I love to travel, and this year have had the amazing opportunity to visit some incredible locations. I wanted to share some of my favorite spots that would be perfect for a destination wedding, honeymoon or even anniversary trip!
This weekend I had the pleasure of celebrating my daughter’s 10th birthday and my 13 year wedding anniversary at the Mount Washington Hotel in New Hampshire. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, as are the surroundings. They have one of the most beautiful spas I have ever been to! It would be an incredible place for a destination wedding ANY season! There is so much to do for the guests and your wedding pictures would be outrageous!
My father has a house in an adorable town in Florida called Seaside that we visited over the 4th of July this year. Seaside is a southern version of Martha’s Vineyard. In the center of the town is the Seaside Inn. It is a charming hotel that sits on a breathtaking white sand beach. It would make an incredible location for a destination beach side wedding!
Last, but certainly farthest from least, I had the opportunity to visit Costa Rica this spring for a photo shoot. We stayed in a villa that was part of Los Suenos Resort. The resort boasts a world class hotel, with an incredible, pool, golf course and beach. Or, if you want to take your visit to the next level, you can rent an gorgeous private villa either for your accomodations or as a venue for your wedding- or better yet, both!.
