2011 bridal trends!
We spent last weekend in New York city at bridal market visiting our designers and see the latest trends for 2011. Here is an update.
Romance continues for 2011. We saw lots of soft fabrics like organza and tulle, often paired with lace. Texture was represented in all of the collections- from ruffles, to layers to flowers- it is all about the dimension!
It’s hard to believe, but Pickups are back! Almost all of our designers had some version of pickup skirts in their collection.

Romance is in! Full skirts graced all of the runways. Here is a sampling of our dreamy favorites!

I'm planning a july 2011 wedding… what colors are the trends going towards?
Angela, black and white weddings are hot right now! We are doing lots of bridal parties dressed in black dresses, which is a dream for a bridesmaid.
We are also seeing lots of saturated bright colors like tourquois and kelly green which can be fun paired with yellow! See our post on style me pretty http://www.stylemepretty.com/2010/06/21/costa-rican-wedding-by-events-jubilee/
Hi, I'm getting married in the Fall of 2011. What bridal trends do you foresee being in style by then?
Thanks for blogging! I saw the Judd Waddell full skirt dress in Martha Stewart Weddings but couldn't find it listed in any store's online stock…I'm happy to have found at least another image on your blog, any thoughts on why I can't locate it? I NEED to try it on it's GORGEOUS!
I am having my wedding in July. I have heard so much about Photo Booths that I am going to rent one for my wedding. I am so excited.
