The Mayflower Inn is such an incredible gem! Nestled in the hills of Washington, Connecticut it boasts a lovely historic inn and a state of the art spa, which is one of the most beautiful I have seen. It was such a pleasure having the opportunity to create a winter inspired shoot with our fabulous team in this lovely location. A fresh coating of glistening snow created the perfect back drop for the shoot! Candice Coppola of Jubilee Events found inspiration from winter, the color blue, toile, and interesting textures like birch, evergreen, yarn, and vintage paper. The bouquets created by Datura: a modern garden, including a muff made from birch, were like nothing we had ever seen. They completed each of our looks perfectly and carried through the winter feel of the shoot in a very unique way. We opted for very simple gowns with lots of silver and pearl accessories. We also brought in warmth through a ruffled ivory cardigan, a sumptuous fur stole and a precious cashmere beret and gloves. We were thrilled to have our work featured in Gala Weddings magazine.
