This Spring I visited a new venue in Ledyard, Connecticut and instantly knew I had to style a shoot there!  The location is called The Gardens at 222 and it is a glorious series of gardens surrounding an antique home, nestled in the woods in a historic Connecticut town. My vision was to create a shoot filled with shades of creams, blushes, taupes and a touch of mint to play beautifully off of the lush green surroundings. For the fashion, I opted to use non-traditional gowns filled with texture, complimented by dramatic, vintage inspired jewelry.

The two focal points of the shoot, an oversized colorful bouquet and vine bench entwined with flowers were created by the Tony Palmeri, the floral genius that is Datura: a modern garden. We were blessed with glorious light that assisted Carla Ten Eyck in creating the beautiful shots!
