“The rain fell slowly and steadily, trying it’s best to dampen the mood of their day but as Alex put on her veil and final touches, she was all smiles. She may not have been able to say her vows outside atop a high hill, as she had hoped, but she knew that the only thing that mattered was that she was able to say her vows to the man of her dreams. As she walked down the aisle and turned the corner in the barn, you could see all the stress and tension of the morning melt off of Kyle’s face. It was obvious that he felt like the luckiest guy in the world as the most beautiful woman in the world walked toward him to become his wife. Kyle and Alex are the type of people who are old souls with young spirits and genuine hearts. Throughout the day Alex kept asking *me* if I was ok, if we had eaten anything…and in general just wanted to make sure that everyone around her was having an amazing time. An amazing time they did have. With the help of Top Hat Entertainment, Alex and Kyle’s reception in the barn at Mountaintop Inn and Resort was one of the best parties we’ve ever been to and it was clear that they know how to surround themselves with people who know how to have a good time. From their amazing bridal party, to their college friends, to their incredibly sweet family, I’d say that the rain didn’t hold anyone back from an amazing wedding day” -from Alicia Ann Photographers blog.

The first time I saw Kelsey, I was in awe of how beautiful she was. So much that I walked over to her and gushed to her about it. In the two seconds before words came out of my mouth, I thought to myself that she will probably think I’m crazy creepy – I had never met her before! Instead, Kelsey laughed heartily and was so incredibly modest with the compliment. In that moment, I realized that she really is a beautiful person in all form inside and out. After having a chance to get to know Paul a bit later, it made perfect sense why these two gravitated to each other. Both have the kindest hearts and sweetest smiles. And their little guy Charlie is a mirror of everything they are – warm, real, happy and in love -Hubert & Alka
We absolutely adore Kelsey and Paul’s wedding at the Riverhouse. She was absolutely stunning in her gown – Hayley Paige Dori. Scroll below and you will see what we mean! A big thank you to Kelsey for partaking in our day of wedding dress service and bringing her darling baby, Charlie to every fitting!

As soon as we caught a glimpse of Jill and Ryan’s wedding photos, we knew they had to be shared – you’ll see what we mean upon viewing the images!
A few words from Jill: It’s kind of a funny story how we met. When I was younger, I moved in with my Dad across the street from Ryan and his parents. We lived DIRECTLY across the street from each other for about 5 years and never met! One day I was over my cousin Kerri’s and she had asked if she could set me up with a friend of their’s and I agreed. It ended up being Ryan! We met at her house one night and hit it off from there. Still to this day I think it is SO strange that we lived across the street from each other all of that time and ended up meeting in the most unlikely place. Definitely one of those things that’s meant to be if you ask me! All everyone kept saying was “who would have thought after all of that time you each would be marrying the boy/girl next door!”
Our wedding day was probably the most special, amazing day of my entire life. I have looked forward to that day ever since I was 4 years old and saw my favorite movie (still to this day), Father of the Bride. Overall, I could not have asked for anything better – I am extremely lucky and thankful for that day & the people I shared it with (especially for the perfect experience finding my dress. I seriously have heard horror stories and I had the complete opposite experience!)

A little rain did not stop our beautiful bride Melissa and her groom Russell from enjoying their gorgeous wedding at Lord Thompson Manor. Our friends Robert and Kathleen captured this romantic wedding so beautifully!
“When they were both undergrads together at Duke University, Melissa had thought she knew Russell. He was a frat guy, she thought, not serious. Then, two months before she graduated, Russell offered to walk her home from the bar where they had both happened to be. On that walk home, they talked. They talked about a number of things but when Russell told Melissa about his favorite violin concerto, he spoke about it so eloquently that Melissa felt as though she was finally seeing Russell for the very first time. In that moment, she saw the man he truly was; everything he could be. Most importantly, she knew that this was a man she wanted to get to know better.
When they became a couple, Melissa came to know that Russell was, in fact, very serious – especially when in came to a future with her. On their wedding day, their Rabbi shared the gorgeous words that Russell wrote to Melissa, explaining how he felt about her and the life he pictured that they would share. Russell wrote that his deepest dreams are of growing old with Melissa. That when he looks into the mirror decades into the future and sees a wrinkled face, he will see those lines as a result of good work, of a life well lived, like the hands of a skilled carpenter. As the Rabbi read the words, Melissa and Russell held hands and stared into each other’s eyes. It’s safe to say that everyone else in the room, reached for their own tissues at that moment” -Robert & Kathleen Photographers

It is such a tremendous thrill for us when we assist with all of the fashion components in a bride’s wedding. And when we see the photos, we are in awe of how it all came together. This is exactly how we feel about Ashley’s wedding, which was featured on Style Me Pretty today! Ashley created such a magical wedding. She pulled together some of the very best in the wedding industry for her stunning fete. We were so honored to be among them!
We were thrilled to work with Ashley to create a custom gown through Modern Trousseau. Her accessories, which were from Maria Elena, had a touch of pale blue, and this gorgeous color was incorporated throughout her entire wedding. Her bridesmaids wore dresses from Donna Morgan in the perfect shade of ‘sea glass’ blue – the color played beautifully off of the creamy whites of Belle Mer!
Every detail of this wedding was executed to perfection, and each was captured beautifully by Sweet Monday Photography. Thank you so much Ashley for allowing us to be part of your special day!

Winter may be on its way, but snow and frigid temperatures are the furthest things from our mind right now. After looking at photographs from Jessica and Ryan’s wedding, we can’t stop thinking about summer! From the bride’s accessories to the venue’s decorations, everything had a beachy vibe. Not only did guests sign adirondack chairs, but they also hit golf balls into the ocean – talk about a good time! Scroll below to view the adorable images. We hope they bring back happy memories of warm weather!
