“When I got engaged, I knew I had to try on wedding gowns at The White Dress! It’ll definitely be a positive experience that I’ll never forget! From the moment you walk into the adorable shop until you pick up your dress at the last fitting, you are treated with the highest quality of service! All of the staff has such a passion for what they do! I thought I had found ‘the one’ until my stylist really listened to my wants and pulled the absolute perfect dress for me. I didn’t want to take it off! And the alterations were done with such expertise that the dress literally looked like it was specially made to fit me! The White Dress both fulfilled and exceeded my expectations of my dress experience, and I am so happy I chose them to be such a big part of my special day!”

It is such a tremendous thrill for us when we assist with all of the fashion components in a bride’s wedding. And when we see the photos, we are in awe of how it all came together. This is exactly how we feel about Ashley’s wedding, which was featured on Style Me Pretty today! Ashley created such a magical wedding. She pulled together some of the very best in the wedding industry for her stunning fete. We were so honored to be among them!
We were thrilled to work with Ashley to create a custom gown through Modern Trousseau. Her accessories, which were from Maria Elena, had a touch of pale blue, and this gorgeous color was incorporated throughout her entire wedding. Her bridesmaids wore dresses from Donna Morgan in the perfect shade of ‘sea glass’ blue – the color played beautifully off of the creamy whites of Belle Mer!
Every detail of this wedding was executed to perfection, and each was captured beautifully by Sweet Monday Photography. Thank you so much Ashley for allowing us to be part of your special day!

Winter may be on its way, but snow and frigid temperatures are the furthest things from our mind right now. After looking at photographs from Jessica and Ryan’s wedding, we can’t stop thinking about summer! From the bride’s accessories to the venue’s decorations, everything had a beachy vibe. Not only did guests sign adirondack chairs, but they also hit golf balls into the ocean – talk about a good time! Scroll below to view the adorable images. We hope they bring back happy memories of warm weather!

What better way to kick off the new season than with photographs from a picturesque wedding in the Litchfield Hills of Connecticut. From the quaint cottages and enchanting grounds to the sophisticated hors d’oeuvres and delicate place settings, Allison and Nolan’s wedding just screams rustic elegance! We were mesmerized by the images and had trouble selecting which ones to share! Scroll below to view their charming photos and read a brief recap from the adorable bride herself.
“We were drawn to the ‘rustic farm’ look but also have a classic/traditional style. We tried to keep everything as simple as possible! We wanted our wedding to reflect the things we love, so we focused on delicious food (plus open bar!) and an amazing band. The rest just fell into place! We made every decision together but didn’t overthink anything. It was truly the perfect day!”

Pretty Post’s are always special and even more so when it is one of our own bridal stylists’ wedding! This post just takes it over the top for us, as this lovely couple is expecting their first child in a few short months. We are finally sharing Holly & Adam’s sweet wedding that took place last summer! Take a peek below for all of the pin-worthy inspiration from this creative couple.
Holly and Adam are both artists and have known each other for over a decade. Their wedding paired sweet sentimentality with unique creative touches set upon the backdrop of picturesque Mystic, CT where the two grew up.
Having both worked at Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters as Display Coordinators and attended the same college of fine arts, their heartfelt and handmade wedding was a true portrait of their lives together, infused with whimsical touches and heirloom details. They used all local vendors and paper as a common thread in kites, hearts, streamers and craft paper.
Having an intimate, casual gathering was really important to them, so they kept it small and had Holly’s grandfather, a Justice of the Peace perform the ceremony in his back yard on the bank of the Mystic River.
When it came time to party the pair invited all of their friends and family to a reception at The Boat House at Seaport Marine- thats right, a party right on the water. The fete was completed with a to-die-for brick oven pizza truck, starry Sperry tent, handmade decor and a down right funky band who call themselves ‘Folk, Yall’.
All in all, this wedding felt so much like Holly & Adam and we were so honored to be a part of their big day, just as we are to be a part of their next step in life as they welcome their baby boy into the world!
Congrats Holly & Adam, you two are truly special to us.
