Spring 2016 Bridal Market Trends

We just arrived back from a whirlwind trip to New York for Spring 2016 Bridal Market. There were two words that best describe the overall feel of the collections – feminine and pretty. We are so excited about what our designers showed and the gorgeous options that will be arriving in the boutique later this summer! Long sleeves and ball skirts carried over from last season, and several new and exciting trends emerged.

Below is a recap of the top trends from Spring 2016 Bridal Market:

Last season, it was all about the bare, dramatic, plunging backs. This season, the options were a bit more demure with sheer skin-colored illusion backs and backs with unique feminine details.

Floral details and textures were the belle of the ball this bridal market. They graced virtually every runway. These textural options are a wonderful alternative to the traditional lace gowns that we have been seeing for so many seasons.

Mira Zwillinger Bridal Spring 2016

This is a trend that is certainly not for every bride, but it is an interesting option nonetheless. We personally prefer this look for a shower or rehearsal dinner versus a walk down the aisle.

We are obsessed with this trend. We love it for both the bridal and bridesmaid categories.

Last season, it was all about the plunging back necklines. This season, front necklines were taking the plunge!
