Safety Protocols For Appointments

Our priority is the health and safety of our brides and our staff.  We are taking the guidelines from the State and have put safety protocols in place for appointments. We are taking our procedures for disinfecting and safety very seriously. We have staff members with family that are immune compromised, and we also want to be sure that we remain healthy so that we can continue to serve our clients. Our ultimate goal is to ensure that you are able to have the wedding of your dreams! In order for that to happen, we ALL need to do our part to ensure the continued health and safety of our community.

Following is what you can expect during your in-store experience with us. Our goal, as always, remains providing you with an exceptional shopping experience filled with incredible memories. We plan to execute that in the safest possible way!

As for our boutique hours:  Following our our current appointment times for Saturday appointments: 9:30, 11:30, 1:30, 3:30   Appointments are 90 minutes long.  We are taking 30 minutes between appointments to steam gowns and disinfect the fitting areas.

We ask that you have patience with us during this time. This revised process is new for us and it may take extra time to ensure that we are being thorough and are following the proper protocols. We are doing this for all of our health and safety.  We will get through this together! We are so happy to be able to serve you and to help you look and feel beautiful for your wedding!

-We will be asking a series of health-related questions. We ask that you answer these questions honestly in order to keep our staff and other guests healthy.  If you are unable to join us at this time due to exposure or poor health, we are happy to conduct a Virtual Appointment as first step and then schedule an in-person appointment in the coming weeks.

If you or your guests are traveling to CT from one of the states and territories without a mask mandate, we are requiring that a rapid test is taken within 48 hours of visiting the boutique. Unless fully vaccinated. Proof of a negative test or vaccination card will be required.  If you would like to get tested in Connecticut, we are recommending DOCS labs for rapid tests.

-We will have you complete an online pre-appointment questionnaire so that we can get to know more about you and your wedding and your preferences for your gown. This step will prevent you from having to fill out paperwork upon your arrival and it will assist your stylist in getting acquainted with your wedding day style.

-Feel free to share your Pinterest board or any inspiration prior to your appointment! The more information we have, the better!  We also request that you check out our Look Book, which can be accessed through your portal, linked in your appointment confirmation email. It allows you to view a sampling of the gowns in the boutique. You can comment and heart the ones you like and give us an idea of what you are loving before you even come in!

-For the near future, we will be limiting the number of guests in our store. For bridal we are limiting the guest count to 4.  For bridesmaids appointments, we have limited the guest to 4 bridesmaids. For accessory appointments we will be allowing two. For alterations appointments, we will advise the number of guests you can bring depending on your seamstress (either one or none). We are happy to facilitate a FaceTime or Zoom call with any guests who are unable to attend in person.  We respectfully ask if that you have a family member or friend who is 65 or over or is immune-compromised in some way, please have them stay home.

-Per the guidelines of the State of Connecticut, we are asking that all brides and their guests come to the appointment with a mask or face covering.   Upon arrival, you will find that your stylist will also be wearing a masks and possibly gloves.

-Please bring shoes and or a strapless bra for you to utilize during the appointment. For the immediate future, we will not be providing these items.

-As we are by appointment, our door will remain locked for the immediate future. We will only open it for guests with pre-scheduled appointments.

-Upon arrival at the boutique, we ask that you either call us (860.669.4596) or text us (860.552.2054) from your vehicle to advise of your arrival. We will confirm when we are ready for you to come into the boutique.  We will be doing this to ensure that only one party enters the boutique at a time and to ensure that your fitting area has been thoroughly disinfected prior to your arrival.

-Upon entering the boutique, your temperature may be taken.  We will ask that you wash your hands with either provided hand sanitizer or via the sink in our rest room.

-You will immediately be taken to your private fitting room where your appointment will take place. Your stylist will greet you there and based on our pre-appointment conversations, a selection of curated gown will be waiting for you.

-After each gown is tried on, it will be taken to a designated location in the boutique where the hanger and zipper will be wiped down and the gown will be steamed at a high temperature to make it safe for other brides to try on.

-When you have found your gown and are ready to pay, we will ask you to complete our policy form on your phone and we will also email or text you a link where you can pay from your device. We will not be using our credit card machine or accepting cash or checks during this time. All transactions will be hands free.
