Bridesmaid dresses take 3-4 months to produce. We recommend placing the order for your bridesmaid dresses 5-6 months in advance of the wedding. We can often reduce the lead-time with a rush fee.

Flower girl dresses take the least amount of time to produce, as the designers understand that little girls grow! We recommend placing the order for flower girls 3-4 months in advance of the wedding, depending on the designer. If you are purchasing a flower girl dress from the Jenny Yoo or Coren Moore collections, you may have to order the flower girl dress at the same time as the maids dresses in order to take advantage of the group discount.

After you have selected your bridesmaid dress and flower girl dresses, please contact us to make sure we have the correct designer, dress style, color and fabric for your attendant’s dresses. We will also need a final list of your attendant’s names.

Following are the steps required to place your attendant’s order at The White Dress by the shore. The order will not be placed until all of the 4 steps have taken place:

step ONE
Each attendant needs to be measured professionally. If the attendants are not local and are unable to come into our boutique, they should print out the appropriate measuring chart and take it to a tailor or seamstress to be measured. They should then compare their measurements to the designer’s chart to determine the best size. Please note it is important to base the size on the largest measurement. If assistance is needed in determining the size, please call us at 860.669.4596.

step TWO
After the size has been determined, read, sign, and note the size of the attendant and the bride’s last name on the bottom of our Policy Form. This form can be submitted
online below.

step THREE
Payment. We require payment in full for bridesmaid and flower girl dresses. Payment can be made over the phone at 860.669.4596.

step FOUR
We DO NOT SHIP dresses from our store. We do have a relationship with the local UPS store and can coordinate shipping through them. We are not responsible for any dresses shipped through the UPS store. Any questions regarding tracking information should be directed to them at 860.664.0066 or store3757@theupsstore.com.

In order to have attendants dresses shipped, the bride must submit the following form to us via email or fax. We will not ship dresses individually. We must receive the shipment authorization form completely filled out with all of the attendants’ shipping and credit card information and all dresses will be shipped at once. The completed form can be submitted online below.
