Choose up to 3 off-the-rack wedding gowns and we’ll ship them straight to your doorstep. Try them on at home, keep the one you love, and send the others back.

Find & Understand your bridal size
- Bridal sizing is typically two sizes larger than your street size (ex. If you wear a size 6 in jeans, you’ll be a size 10 in a wedding dress)
- It is best to use a soft measuring tape when measuring yourself. Use this video for guidance.
- Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your bust while keeping the tape level across your back. (This is not your bra size.)
- Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your torso—usually right above your belly button and below your ribcage. Having trouble finding your waist? Bend to the side and where you naturally naturally crease is where you should measure.
- Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and bum, typically 8–10 inches below your waist.
- Pro Tip: Always go with your largest measurement when choosing a size. Gowns can be taken in, but they’re much harder to let out!

Gown Arrival & Try on
- All packages will require a signature upon delivery.
- Each package is sent with clips, at home try on instructions (including return date) and a YES sign, for when you find "the one!"
- You can expect a call from us to review the fit, hear your feedback, and guide you through alterations expectations and next steps.

- Email us at sales@thewhitedressbytheshore.com with your gown selection and we will then charge your card for the price of the gown.
- Send back the gown(s) you don't want with the enclosed pre-paid label.
- If you want to take advantage of our gown cleaning service ($295), include your gown in the box with the returned dresses. It will be shipped back to you FREE of charge after cleaning.
- Don't forget to email us your YES photo with the YES sign included in the box!

If you decide on one of our gowns, CONGRATS! All you need to do is send us an email at sales@thewhitedressbytheshore.com and let us know which gown you have selected and your card will then be charged for the price of the gown. If you want to take advantage of our gown cleaning service, you will be charged the $295 cleaning fee along with the price of the gown. This cleaning fee includes return shipping to you after cleaning.
TWD at Home FAQ
Unfortunately, no. TWD at Home gowns are available to be purchased in our store as well as online. We max the TWD at Home boxes to three samples so that we have ready to wed gowns available for brides who shop in the boutique. If you would like to try on more than 3 gowns, we suggest coming in for an “off the rack appointment”, so that you can shop our full collection of ready to wed dresses. Click here to request an off the rack appointment.
If you are not local to our boutique, we can send you three additional gowns as a separate TWD at Home order, once your original 3 dresses are returned to us.
Yes! We have a professional cleaning services that we work with. In order to do so, we would have you ship the gown back to us with your returned gowns using the pre-paid label. A $295 cleaning fee will be added to your gown purchase. This includes return shipping to you. The cleaning process takes approximately 3 weeks. If you need it cleaned sooner, rush fees may apply.

You may have heard that bridal sizing runs about 2 sizes larger than your size in regular clothes. (Meaning, if you are a size 10 in regular clothes, you are most likely a 12 or 14 in bridal sizing). Not sure of your size? Click here for a video on how to measure yourself.

WANT TO HAVE YOUR GOWN CLEANED AND PRESERVED AFTER YOUR WEDDING?
Send the gown back to us for cleaning + preservation! The process takes 6-8 weeks and the gown will be shipped directly back to you in a stunning preservation box.
