As a stylist, I collaborate on many beautiful projects.  Some times though, the project takes on an even bigger meaning, and that is exactly what happened with this shoot!
I was contacted by Amy Blau, founder and publisher of
Bliss Celebrations Magazine, to conceptualize a shoot for their 2016 issue.  For some time I had been dreaming about creating a shoot that featured chinoiserie and boxwood.  Amy and I brainstormed locations and settled on Glen Manor in Newport.  When we brought the concept to Candice Coppola of
Jubilee Events, who would be designing the concept and décor, she had the brilliant idea to feature two grooms.  She was inspired by turning the feminine aspect of chinoiserie on it's head by bringing in some masculine elements such as leather and wood.
We had such a blast while working on this shoot. Â We not only had a dream team of collaborators (see the list below), but we so enjoyed seeing the love of our real couple, David and Anthony. Â After the recent events in Orlando, and around the world, we are more honored than ever to feature this photo shoot. Â We believe in ONE LOVE! Love that transcends race, gender, or sexual orientation. Â We believe that LOVE IS LOVE! Â We hope you will celebrate this love by enjoying the images from our shoot!
