This is such an exciting time to be a bride.  The beauty of this generation of brides is that it is all about creativity and showing your personal style- really anything goes!  Here are some of my favorite trends for 2013: The hottest trends are coming out of the bridesmaid category.  For seasons, the trend has been short maids dresses.  This season, it is all about long and soft!  Flowy fabrics like chiffon will be all the rage.  We will continue to see bridesmaids selecting different silhouettes in the same fabric and color, as well as in different hues of the same color.

Jenny Yoo       Where you do see short maids dresses, they will be in interesting fabrics like lace and in fun prints!!  We will be seeing a lot of bright saturated colors, like the marigold lace dress below from Jenny Yoo.   Marigold cotton lace by Jenny Yoo                                     Saturated prints in fun colors by Jenny Yoo   The âNabi❠dress in fun Polka Dots from Jenny Yoo   Painterly floral prints by Amsale  We will see a role reversal of maids and brides this season, with bridal parties wearing shades of white and ivory, and the bride in a neutral color. Images courtesy of Brides Magazine  For several seasons brides have moved away from the veil.   I am happy to report that it is back and it is more dramatic than ever!  Long veils will be the veil silhouette of the season.  We will continue to see classic lace trims, but will also see other types of embellishments, like beading and embroidery.  My favorite is the monogrammed veil!
