We were thrilled when Beth chose the Amsale "Harbor" gown and The Loading Dock venue for our guest post on The White Dress blog. The pairing of a classic fit to flare silhouette with the dramatic one-shoulder design and the unique raw space of the venue had us instantly dreaming of studded heels and neon pink accents. We always begin client wedding design with an inspiration board, and this one features the seasons bright colors and clean lines in a romantic light. We kept that mood in mind while choosing accessories and accents to design industrial chic wedding inspiration for The Loading Dock in Stamford.
(1) We simply adore the chic Harbor gown, from its smooth silk to the sensational back bow and think that a pair of (2) Pigalle Spikes Louboutin's would peek perfectly from beneath for a high fashion edge. (3) We chose a black and white houndstooth wedding cake from our friend Erica O'Brien, lifting the bow from the gown into the cake theme and introducing gold to the palette. (4) A pink and gold geronimo balloon adds a touch of whimsy for a bride and groom portrait session and we love this one from Steph Shives Studio. (5) We're still obsessed with bold black and white anemones and chose this charming bouquet by Blush Floral Design in Madison, pairing modern anemone's with classic peonies. (6) We couldn't help but add an acrylic neon cake topper whose design mirrors The Loading Dock sign! (7) We styled these Kate Spade bow studs as a sweet accessory for the bride and a subtle nod to the back of the gown. (8) This paper suite from Coral Pheasant is a divine combination of gorgeous calligraphy and blush bold fonts. (9) A raw space like The Loading Dock allows for so much creativity, and we pulled these Gold Saturn charges by Party Rentals Ltd. to brighten and warm the table scape. (10) We are in LOVE with these custom acrylic monogram earrings - the perfect accessory (and price point) for bridesmaids gifts!
