We recently had the honor of styling the fashion for
Connecticut Bride's Fall/Winter 2011 cover and editorial spread. The shoot took place shortly after the Royal Wedding, which acted as our inspiration. We were thrilled to be able to use the gowns from
Modern Trousseau's Fall 2011 collection  for this shoot. In the spirit of the royal nuptials, we went for a very regal and feminine look with the accessories featuring jewelry from
Haute Bride and
Tejani , gloves by
Carolina Amato and hats and fascinators by
Bijou Van Ness.
The shoot took place over the course of 2 days at 5 historic locations in Hartford, Connecticut. We shot at the
Society Room, City Hall,
The Old State House, The Mark Twain House and
Elizabeth Park.Â
We collaborated with Connecticut's best and brightest on this shoot. Candice Coppola of
Jubilee Events coordinated all of the locations and worked with Beth Chapman, owner of
The White Dress by the shore on creating the  inspiration for the shoot. Tony Palmeri of
Datura: a modern garden created the bouquets and floral accents and
Dana Bartone was responsible for the incredible beauty!Â
Carla Ten Eyck captured it all on film and Jim Altieri of
Vintage Cinema, documented the behind-the scenes-on video. You can watch the video below!

Be sure to run out and pick up your copy on newsstands and stay tuned to the blog for the stunning shots that were not featured in the spread.
We love what we do and are so thrilled to share it with you!
xoxo, TWD
