Today we reveal to you a very special Feature Friday- the wedding of our very own store manager, Rachel and her new husband, Danny! Rachel and Danny are an incredible couple- their relaxed, welcoming attitude instantly puts you at ease and their love for each other is apparent in all that they do. Rachel comes from the bustling NYC fashion world and Danny's favorite activity is heading out on the sound to fish, but when they met, their two worlds merged into one beautiful life. The Saybrook Point Inn reflects their effortless style and deep love for one another, which is why we are so thrilled to finally share it with you!
As a former Creative Services Director for a well known brand in New York City, Rachel
knows fashion. Which is probably why her wedding day ensemble was so perfect both for the setting and her personal style. The look was understated and modern- we love how she complimented her
Ivy & Aster tiered chiffon sheath gown with a sparkling sash, blingy earrings custom designed by
Aquinnah Jewelry and ultra-modern mirror heels from one of her favorite stores,
Zara. We also love Rachel's choice for her mother and sister as well- two flowing chiffon
Amsale dresses that perfectly complimented her
Ivy & Aster gown. The groom looked dapper in
Polo Ralph Lauren and we love how he added fishing boots after the ceremony to pay homage to his favorite past time.
Their fashion was enhanced by the event's design and floral choices. Table settings were simple yet elegant and the food was served buffet style with choices like seafood paella and mini-sliders- which were to-die-for. We love the floral arrangements by Blush Floral design- soft ivory and blue highlighted the table numbers, designed by a close friend of the bride's.
