The first is a program created by one of our favorite San Francisco-based designers, Amy Kuschel. Each year, her team selects certain gowns to support different non-profit charities. Most recently, they announced that their 'Boston' gown will give back to the Trevor Project, providing crisis intervention and suicide services to LGBTQ teens and young adults. Here are some other AK gowns that give back:
'Roxy', San Francisco SPCA
'Harlow', The Sierra Club
'Boston', Trevor Project
Next on our list is a beautiful and unique decorative glass product, called GlassyBabies. Available for purchase and rental, glassybabies are hand-blown glass candle votives, that can also be used as vases or drinking glasses! The best part is that each vibrant color gives back to a designated charity. Lee Rhodes founded Glassybaby when as a cancer patient herself, she met other patients in waiting rooms who could not even afford the bus fare to get to their treatments. She created a simple but iconic product and an organization that donates 10% of each sale to a long list of charitable causes. This seemingly simple system has donated over $4.4 million dollars to date through their White Light Fund! The White Dress by the shore owner and stylist, Beth Chapman, recently dressed Martha Stewart's niece, Kristina, who incorporated the glassware into her wedding reception centerpieces.images: Charlotte Jenks Lewis, event design: The Nouveau RomanticsÂ
These rich, brilliantly colored glasses make great gifts, {think Mother's Day!} You can learn more and purchase glassybabies here. This Napa Valley based winery was founded in 2007 with the goal of making the world a better place through beautifully crafted wine (and bubbly). We share the same philosophy that giving back is âgood businessâ and are thrilled to share ONE HOPE with you!  With the purchase of every bottle of wine, a donation is made to a specific designated charity. Additionally, private wine tastings can be arranged to support your favorite local charity where 15 % of the sales from each case sold during the tasting goes to support the local charity of your choice.  We love this idea for weddings too! You can purchase wine (or bubbly) for your event and have 15% of the case sales donated to the charity of your choosing. And of course, each bottle is still making an impact through itâs designated cause partners âmeaningful charities like ASPCA, Team Rubicon, Why Hunger, among others.  Owner, Beth Chapman is a CEO or cause entrepreneur for the company, so she can answer any questions that you may have about ordering wine or brut for your wedding related events.  You can also get more information here. The company has an extensive catalog of wine varietals, but of course, we are obsessed with these sparkling bottles of brut (câmonâ¦bubbles and sparklesâ¦.who could resist?!)  Here is the line up and the charities that they support:Gold Sparkling Brute â Charity:  Why HungerÂ
The purchase of every bottle connects 15 meals to one hungry child in the U.S.
Rainbow Sparkling Brut â Charity: The Trevor Project Â
The purchase of every bottle funds one hour of operation costs for support and suicide prevention of LGBT teens in crisis.
Silver Bottle â Charity: Why Hunger
The purchase of every bottle connects 15 meals to one hungry child in the U.S.
One Hope is hosting a promotion this month and when you purchase 3 or more bottles of wine or brut, you will save 15% and enjoy free shipping. Â And of course, support the designated cause partner for the varietal. Â click here to purchase.
