Last week owner, Beth Chapman had the pleasure of participating in a Google + chat on incorporating color into your wedding.  Beth was joined by celebrity event planner, Colin Cowie, floral designer, Karen Tran, and the discussion was moderated by founder of From I Will to I Do, editor, Anne Chertoff. Different colors evoke different emotions and the colors that you choose will set the tone for your entire wedding.  One of the first steps in planning your wedding should be setting the color palate, as this will have an effect on all other aspects of your wedding- from the invitations, to the flowers, to the fashion. In terms of incorporating color into your wedding attire, for the bride, I say less color is more.  There is a current trend toward color wedding dresses.  If you plan to wear a colored gown, I recommend that you opt for a very pale hue that is just a hint of color.   Accessories are also a great way to incorporate color into your wedding day attire without overdoing it. The place to make a statement with color is with your bridesmaids!  I also love the idea of using your reception dress as a way to make a statement with color.
