Jackie Kennedy has always been one of my style icons and her wedding to JFK has long been one of my all-time favorites. Several years ago I was enlisted by Gala Weddings Magazine to assist in recreating JFK and Jackieâs wedding for their publication. Being that today would have been their 63rd wedding anniversary, I thought it was the perfect day to re post it! (PS - tomorrow will be my 19 year wedding anniversary! I have always loved that my anniversary is one day after theirs.)
The gown that the model is wearing in this shoot was designed by Anne Barge and is a strapless replica of the fashion iconâs gown. I have saved this gown as part of my private collection and may never, ever part with it!
The stunning tables cape designed by Candice of Jubilee Events and executed by Ryan Designs, might be one of my all-time favorites. Can we discuss how the ghost chairs took the place of escort cards?
Jackieâs timeless elegance transcends generations. It was a privilege to reinterpret her special day for a modern bride.  -Beth Chapman, TWD Owner & Stylist.Â
