The staff at The White Dress by the shore has diverse backgrounds and combined have years of experience styling brides. Whether you are shopping with us for the first time or picking up your gown at your final fitting, each interaction will be filled with excitement and the desire to provide you with exceptional service. We are by appointment so that our talented stylists may provide you with an intimate, personalized experience. It is the goal of our staff to ensure that the day that you select your wedding attire is as memorable the day that you wear it. BETH CHAPMAN, owner and stylist, is a veteran of the retail industry. She spent 10 years working in the corporate office of Ann Taylor, where she served as a Vice President of Merchandising. Bethâs love of exquisite fabrics and feminine details have enabled her to create a collection for The White Dress by the shore that is the perfect complement for the bride searching for a classic, yet updated wedding gown. Her expertise in fabrications and garment fit and her love of bridal couture, allow her to assist clients in selecting the perfect attire for their wedding. Recognized for her dedication to her business, family and community service, Beth was selected as one of the 5 finalists for the 2006 Connecticut Working Woman of the Year. Bethâs extraordinary fashion sense has led to her styling photo shoots throughout the world. Her work has been seen in:  Grace Ormonde, La Bella Bride,  Brides magazine, Connecticut Bride, Bliss Celebrations, Gala Weddings, style me pretty and 100 Layer Cake, among others. In addition to being passionate about fashion, Beth is a devoted wife and mother to two children, Lindsay age 11 and Marky age 8.  Beth  created The White Dress by the shore in 2004, out of a sincere desire to create the ultimate wedding shopping experience for her brides. It is her belief that shopping for your wedding gown should be an intimate and memorable experience â one that is everything youâve dreamed of, but nothing you would expect. RACHEL RENZETTI, Store Manager, comes to The White Dress by the shore with over 10 years of experience in the fashion industry. Rachel worked for the Camuto Group since 2001 and most recently served as the Director of Advertising and Photo Shoot Production for brands including Vince Camuto, Jessica Simpson Collection and Sanctuary Clothing. Rachel has had the opportunity to work with some of the most talented designers, photographers and artists in the fashion industry including multiple celebrities. Her experience and deep love of fashion, branding, styling and event production drew her into the bridal world where all of her favorite pieces of the business collide. Having been a city girl for many years, Rachelâs true comfort zone is at the beach and is currently house hunting with her boyfriend on the CT shoreline.  She thrives on making things happen and is thrilled to contribute to The White Dress by the shoreâs ongoing success. Stylist, ABIGAL SCOTT lives in nearby Guilford, CT. She is married  to Adam, a talented teacher and author. Abbey has two boys, Riley Kyle, 6 and Harrison Saxon, 3. She graduated from Guilford High school and went on to study liberal arts at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. Abbey, who joined the team in early 2010, is a passionate and skilled photographer so naturally one of her favorite parts of her job is seeing the photos of the brides she dressed on their wedding day! Abbey is insightful and creative, not to mention that she certainly knows how to get the rest of the TWD staff smiling.  Abbey has a background in event planning and knows local venues, photographers, caterers, and florists like the back of her hand so be sure to pick her brain while in your appointment! ANNEKE SHARP, grew up in Old Lyme, Connecticut along with her mom, dad, older brother Ajay, younger sister Avery and many pets. She graduated from Old Lyme High School in 2008 and went on to pursue a degree from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in Los Angeles in 2010. Since Anneke was a little girl playing âdress upâ she always wanted to pursue a career in the bridal industry involving herself in bridal fashion shows and even designing a bridal based collection in college. Anneke made her dream into a reality as she officially started her career in 2010, and soon joined The White Dress by the shore team in early 2011.  In addition to being a stylist, Anneke is also one of our fit specialists and single handly keeps our office running smoothly! She lives with her boyfriend Eric and just adopted an adorable tiger cat named Meeko. You can always find Anneke zipping around town in her signature VW bug or baking something truly delectable that the lucky TWD staff gets to enjoy. JILL SANDREY, graduated college in 2010 with a BFA from Parsons School of Design (of project runway fame) in New York City. She majored in an integrated program in which her focuses ranged from fashion design, graphics, film, marketing and illustration- all with a focal point of sustainability.  Her varied interest produced works of all mediums, which can be viewed on her portfolio site, jilliansandrey.com. Jill is a stylist, fittings specialist and communications coordinator at the boutique- her love and knowledge of garment construction makes her extremely passionate about fit, construction and fabric. She would also love to chat with you about your latest blog obsession, pinterest board, favorite hiking spot, star gazing location or healthy cooking endeavor. Jill continues to create outside of the store by painting, sewing and working on various side projects. Although the city was full of excitement, Jill is more inspired on the Connecticut shoreline-she currently lives in her hometown, neighboring Madison, CT. KELLEY SOLOMON has been with The White Dress for four years. She came to us with a background in jewelry design. Kelley managed jewelry business in Madison , CT for several years which she also designed for. Kelley's enthusiasm and beautiful smile are infectious. She has an incredible for eye for selecting the perfect gown and accessories for a bride to suit her personal style. In addition to being on of our bridal stylists, Kelley also owns her own jewelry business, Aquinnah ( named after the town in Martha's Vineyard where she was married in 2009), which she sells exclusively at The White Dress. Kelley recently embarked on her most important and exciting project to date- she became a mother on April, 3rd to a baby girl that she named, Aquinnah. KELLY WINTER, comes to The White Dress by the shore with years of experience in diverse settings, all of which have involved enjoying people.  Kellyâs love of style began at a young age which prompted her undergraduate degree to launch a fashion background, which included management, marketing, and visual coordinating, in both inside and outside sales.  Always one to expand horizons, Kelly chose to further her education by obtaining a Masters Degree in Education.  Thanks to her knowledge and experience, she has been afforded the opportunity to travel and work with a number of dynamic individuals, from colleagues to designers  The bridal industry has only enhanced Kellyâs passion for the public by melding together all that she loves.  Whether styling a bride, assisting a mother of the occasion, or coordinating a White Carpet appointment, Kelly is at home at The White Dress by the shore. SHANA HULL, comes to The White Dress by the shore with 10 years of experience in fashion retail, having worked for the fun and edgy Fairfield County boutique, Wishlist , as a sales associate and Store Manager.  Shana majored in marketing at SCSU and moved to Branford, CT two years ago from her hometown of Fairfield, CT. Shana is a stylist at heart and lives and breathes fashion every day.  You can always count on her to hook you up when a perfect outfit is needed for an event.
