As a mother, choosing your own ensemble for the wedding can be intimidating. You might find yourself dropping to the very end of your âto doâ list. Luckily, The White Dress by the shore only needs an hour and a half to make you look and feel as beautiful as you deserve.
To make the process simple for you, here is what we reccomend~
Youâll set your appointment, so that we may give you our undivided attention in the comfort of our private mother of the occasion studio.
Youâll meet one of our highly trained stylists, who will be your personal expert in fit and construction.
Youâll explore multiple collections, hand-picked by owner Beth Chapman, at varying price points, so we can accommodate your taste and your budget. And then, with your figure flattered in a celebration of your personal styleâ¦youâll dazzle.
All of our dresses are made to order, so weâll need a minimum of five months for proper delivery and alterations.
It is important to us that our mothers of the occasion feel as special as the bride when shopping for their ensembles. The Siri mother of the occasion is designed and manufactured in San Francisco. Designer Beverly Siri has created a collection of social occasion dresses that bring to fashion distinct textures, stunning colors, outstanding quality and always in a modern, yet classic style.  Siri Collection prices start at $550.
We are honored to be the exclusive Connecticut retailer for the Modern Trousseau mother of the occasion collection. This collection is designed and manufactured in Woodbridge, Connecticut. The designer, Callie Tein only uses the finest silks and laces when designing her line. This exquisite collection of separates and gowns are completely customizable. Our talented stylists can work with you to create the perfect ensemble that will flatter your figure and reflect your personal style. As we recognize that women come in all shapes and sizes, after purchasing your Modern Trousseau ensemble from us, we offer the unique opportunity for our clients to have their outfit custom fit by designer Callie Tein in her Woodbridge studio. Modern Trousseau prices start at $1000. The standard production lead time for this collection is 10 weeks.
 Watters offers a selection of  silk separates and gowns for mother of the occasion. This collection is well priced starting at $400. Standard production lead time for this collection is 8-12 weeks.
As our newest designer, we love Theia for it's couture fabrications and excellent fit. This ready to wear line has a shorter lead time- 4 weeks.  The collection is priced at $1,000 and above. Ring us at 860.669.4596 to book your Mother of the Occasion appointment!
