Here are a few words from our friend and photog â extraordinaire, Carla Ten Eyck about the entire shoot and itâs overall inspiration:
âOur creative team travelled to Playa del Carmen, Mexico for a fashion inspired, destination wedding shoot. Our goal was to show brides many different fashion options that are appropriate for a destination wedding. We styled our model in different looks from classic and demure to sultry and dramatic. According to stylist, Beth Chapman, âfashion choices for a destination wedding are endless, as long as the fabric of your gown is lightweight and weather appropriateâ.
Candice Coppola, owner and creative director of Jubilee Events, notes that Playa del Carmen is a fashionable location for a destination wedding, âThere are so many amazing locations for a ceremony and receptionâ from uniquely designed restaurants overlooking the ocean to the hip, âdowntownâ venues on Playaâs 5th Avenue. You can have a beachy wedding, a wedding influenced by mexican culture, a romantic and etherial style soiree, or a very modern clean-lined affair. The possibilities are endless and with the right environment you donât need to bring in much decor.â
