Pretty Post: Kelly & John's Sweet Summer Nuptials

This month's 'Pretty Post' is nothing short of spectacular- it is just one of those weddings where all of the pieces come together into a single, cohesive whole that sings of the couples love for one another. Kelly and John were wed earlier this summer at The New Haven Lawn Club, captured both digitally and on film by Robert and Kathleen Photography. Their color story of light pastels and neutrals juxtaposed beautifully against a lush, green backdrop as well as the grand interior of the Lawn Club. We love how the venue, flowers, invitations, table decor and of course, the gown, play off one another so wonderfully at this feel-good affair. We love Kelly's soft, natural look with an added touch of glam.   Now that is a look of pride! Such a touching moment captured on film. Kelly and her family got ready at  The Grandfield Bed & Breakfast in Madison, Connecticut.    On the morning of her wedding, Kelly's father gifted her the matching Haute Bride bracelet to her earrings that she had long admired in the boutique!   Look at the bouquet from BLUSH Floral Design! Peonies and lambs ear make for a gorgeous combination thats plays in beautifully with the rest of the decor.   What a gorgeous group of ladies- we love how the muted tone of the bridesmaids dresses makes the flowers pop! Kelly's gown is a custom Augusta Jones design purchased at the boutique, lowered in the back to make it her own. We love the sheer lace and boatneck style on Kelly- unique and ultra flattering. She completed the look with an Augusta Jones veil detailed with matching lace as well as a sash, which has just the right amount of bling.   Here comes the bride!  The bride and groom sharing a secret smile during the Catholic ceremony at  Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Hamden, Connecticut.   This image surely puts the 'lawn' in 'Lawn Club'- what a stunning party!   The nuptials were expertly planned by Jubilee Events-we love how the intimate table lighting makes this grand room feel just a bit more cozy.  A Little Imagination Cakes - you have outdone yourself! This is spectacular.   The couple also managed to work plenty of personal touches into the wedding- a hilarious mad-libs for guests to fill out and hand decorated boxes to decorate the mantel. Sweet details like this is what makes a wedding your own!   Those napkins are just too fabulous! The gold lead makes them glam but they also have us laughing.    More hand written hat boxes make these sweet treats look event more delicious!    Keep it coming with the napkins Kelly and John, we can't get enough!
