Current Safety Protocols For Appointments. Mobile Image

Aug 02, 2021

Our priority is the health and safety of our brides and our staff.

Following is what you can expect during your in-store experience with us. Our goal, as always, remains providing you with an exceptional shopping experience filled with incredible memories. We plan to execute that in the safest possible way!

Prior to your appointment:

-We will be asking your vaccination status and that of your guests.  We ask that you answer these questions honestly in order to keep our staff and other guests healthy.  We will ask the bride to provide proof of vaccination. If you are unable to join us at this time due to exposure or poor health, we are happy to conduct a Virtual Appointment as a first step and then schedule an in-person appointment in the coming weeks.

-We are asking brides to complete a pre-appointment questionnaire prior to the appointment so that we can get to know you and your preferences for your gown. This step will prevent you from having to fill out paperwork upon your arrival and it will assist your stylist in getting acquainted with your wedding day style.

-Feel free to share your Pinterest board or any inspiration prior to your appointment! The more information we have, the better!  Please also check out our Look book, which can be accessed through your portal, linked in your appointment confirmation email. It allows you to view a large sampling of the gowns in the boutique. You can comment and heart the ones you like and give us an idea of what you are loving before you even come in!

During your appointment:

-As of August 2, we are following the suggestion of The CDC and The Connecticut Health Department and are asking that all guests wear a mask upon entering the boutique and during their appointment.  If the bride is vaccinated and has provided proof of vaccination, we will allow her to remove her mask when trying on gowns.  All other guests should wear their mask throughout the appointment.  We hope that this is short lived!

-For the near future, we will be limiting the number of guests in our store. For bridal appointments, our guest limit is 4 (not including the bride).  For alterations and accessory appointments, our guest count is 2 (if you have a fitting with Penny, the guest count is 1), and  for bridesmaid appointments, we are limiting the guest count to 4.

- If you would like to bring up to 5 guests, you can request a private shopping experience.  Bridal - White Carpet Appointment  |  Maids- Bridesmaid Soiree

-We are happy to facilitate a FaceTime or Zoom call with any guests who are unable to attend in person.

-We ask that you leave children under 12 years old at home in order to protect them.

Upon your arrival:

-As we are by appointment, our door will remain locked for the immediate future. We will only open it for guests with pre-scheduled appointments.

-Upon arrival at the boutique, we ask that you call us (860.669.4596) from your vehicle to advise of your arrival. We will confirm when we are ready for you to come into the boutique.  We will be doing this to ensure that only one party enters the boutique at a time and to ensure that your fitting area has been thoroughly disinfected prior to your arrival.  It is most helpful if you arrive ON TIME for your appointment. If you are early, we will most likely not be able to accommodate you until your scheduled appointment time.

As for our boutique hours:  Following our our current appointment times for Saturday appointments: 9:30, 11:30, 1:30, 3:30   Appointments are 90 minutes long.  We are taking 30 minutes between appointments to disinfect the fitting areas.

We thank you for your patience as we work to ensure that our staff and our brides remain safe and healthy. We are so happy to be able to serve you and to help you look and feel beautiful for your wedding!
