During your 45-minute Exploratory Experience, you will:

- Share your initial inspiration, preferences, and wedding details
- Try a thoughtfully selected variety of wedding gowns
- Explore different silhouettes, fabrics, necklines, and design details
- Discover what you naturally gravitate toward once you see it on your body

Then, when you enter the ideal shopping window, you can return to The White Dress by the Shore for our Classic Experience. During this 90-minute appointment, we will revisit what you learned, talk about how your vision has evolved, introduce you to the newest gowns in the boutique, and thoughtfully guide you toward the dress that feels like "you" and your wedding day.

For most brides, we recommend beginning the search for a wedding gown approximately 12 to 18 months before the wedding. This generally provides time to explore your options, order your gown, and complete alterations without making the experience feel rushed.
The exact timing can vary based on the designer, gown, production timeline, and any customizations you may want.
If your wedding is less than a year away, do not worry. There may still be beautiful options available, including gowns with shorter production timelines and off-the-rack bridal styles. Contact the boutique as soon as possible so we can help you understand the best options for your date.
