A little rain on your wedding day should be nothing to worry about! In fact, some people see rain on a wedding day as good luck or a good blessing for the bride and groom. One of our real The White Dress By The Shore brides, Kim, recently married James in a late summer wedding at Winvian Farm in Connecticut. It was a rainy morning as bride and groom prepared to walk down the aisle and exchange vows, but as luck would have it, the rain stopped just in time for their wedding ceremony on the farm to be held outdoors as originally planned.
For her romantic wedding day full of blush and coral tones, bride Kim chose to wear a beautiful strapless ball gown wedding dress by Justin Alexander. This floral lace detailed wedding dress features a long wedding dress train and a sweetheart neckline for a classic bridal style. A simple, long wedding veil and a gorgeous bridal bouquet of coral, blush and yellow blooms completed bride Kim's romantic bridal look. Perfect for a late summer wedding, we love that groom James opted to wear a light grey suit with a mauve bowtie. Bridesmaids wore mix and match style satin bridesmaids dresses in sage green, mauve and blush. For a second bridal look, Kim changed into a simple, strapless mini dress with a bow accent for her reception bridal style.
You won't want to miss the stunning floral arbor that was the backdrop of the wedding ceremony. An abundance of greenery was accented with coral and blush colored flowers that completed the floral arrangements that lined the ceremony aisle. The ballroom space of the barn on the property was transformed with more greenery and lush florals for an elegant wedding reception with elevated rustic details. Dancing was held under a clear tent with twinkle lights and a hanging floral and chandelier installation. All the love and details were expertly captured by Francesca Dominique Photography.
