We are so excited to share the real wedding photos of one of our former The White Dress By The Shore bridal stylists! Our former bridal stylist, Lauren, married her fiancé Tim on a gorgeous autumn day in September at Castle Hill Inn in Newport, Rhode Island. This historic wedding venue was the perfect location for a classic wedding day with modern touches. The tented wedding reception was filled with a mix of tall lush floral centerpieces and low centerpieces of white blooms and greenery.
Lauren was a stylist for The White Dress by the shore for over 5 years. She started right out of college and we had a front seat watching her relationship with her how husband, Tim, grow and flourish. Of course, as a bridal stylist, Lauren often talked about what she might wear one day when it was “her turn”. The look that she selected was true to her “classic with a twist” fashion sensibility and was in keeping with what she always pictured that she would wear for her wedding. It was a true honor to get to dress one of our own…especially in Anne Barge, a designer that we have carried since our opening days!
You won't want to miss bride Lauren's custom Anne Barge wedding dress, made of the most gorgeous jacquard fabric. This unique ball gown wedding dress with pockets has a v-neckline with a delicate pearl trim. The back of the wedding dress is accented by a large bow that trailed down the wedding dress train. A classic bridal bun updo hairstyle and a long cathedral length wedding veil completed the bride's classic wedding day look.
For the wedding reception, bride Lauren changed into a fun party dress to dance the night away. This short reception bridal dress with sparkles and fringe was the perfect ending to a magical day, all captured by Melissa Stimpson Photography.
