When a wedding and events designer is planning her own wedding, you know that wedding day is going to be incredible! We are so excited to share the wedding photos from another of our real The White Dress By The Shore brides, who happens to be the owner of KG Events and Design, a Martha's Vineyard based wedding and event planning company. Bride, Kristen, is also friends with The White Dress By The Shore owner, Beth Chapman, and so we were thrilled she chose to shop with us in Connecticut for her dream wedding dress!
Kristen and Rob planned a beachfront destination wedding at the stunning Morada Bay on Islamorda in the Florida Keys. Letting the gorgeous setting be the focal point for the day, this couple were sure to made eco-friendly choices when planning their wedding, opting to work with sustainable vendors whenever possible. Getting married on the coast allowed for an easy wedding day theme of coastal luxury with natural decor elements that embraced all the beach vibes.
For her wedding dress, bride Kristen chose an amazing, illusion lace wedding dress by Ines Di Santo. This fitted bridal dress has an illusion lace bodice with a v-neckline and an open back. The satin bridal dress skirt features a lace detailed wedding dress train. The bride chose a classic chignon bridal updo hairstyle and a natural makeup look for classic bridal style. We love Kristen's "something blue" bridal shoes that matched the bridesmaids dresses.
An al fresco wedding ceremony in front of the ocean was followed by an outdoor cocktail hour and wedding reception in the sand, under bistro lights. The tented wedding reception featured rattan hanging lanterns, mismatched styles tables and chairs for a coastal eclectic look, and centerpieces that were handmade by the groom. You won't want to miss the stunning sunset portraits by Perry Vaile.
